حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ كُلْثُومٍ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ زَيْنَبُ تَفْلِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَهُ امْرَأَةُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ وَنِسَاءٌ مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ يَشْكُونَ مَنَازِلَهُنَّ وَأَنَّهُنَّ يَخْرُجْنَ مِنْهُ وَيُضَيَّقُ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِيهِ فَتَكَلَّمَتْ زَيْنَبُ وَتَرَكَتْ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّكِ لَسْتِ تَكَلَّمِينَ بِعَيْنَيْكِ تَكَلَّمِي وَاعْمَلِي عَمَلَكِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَنْ يُوَرَّثَ مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ النِّسَاءُ فَمَاتَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَوَرِثَتْهُ امْرَأَتُهُ دَارًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan narrated to us: 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Jami' ibn Shaddad, from Kulthum, she said: Zaynab used to delouse the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while the wife of 'Uthman ibn Maz'un and women of the emigrant women were present with him, complaining about their dwellings, that they had to leave them and were being restricted in them. So Zaynab spoke up, letting go of the head of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: You are not speaking with your eyes; speak and continue your work. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that day ordered that the women of the emigrants be given inheritance (of their houses). Then 'Abdullah died, and his wife inherited from him a house in Madinah.
