حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُدَّيْنِ مِنْ قَمْحٍ بِالْمُدِّ الَّذِي تَقْتَاتُونَ بِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Attab b. Ziyad told us: Abd Allah — meaning Ibn al-Mubarak — told us: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Muhammad b. Abd al-Rahman b. Nawfal, from Fatimah bint al-Mundhir, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, who said: We used to give the Zakat al-Fitr in the time of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) as two mudds of wheat, by the mudd that you measure your food with.
