حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ لَمَّا دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ حَجَبُوهُ وَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الضُّحَى ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ مَا رَآهُ أَحَدٌ بَعْدَهَا صَلَّاهَا.

Ya'la b. Ubayd told us: Isma'il — meaning Ibn Abi Khalid — told us, from Abu Salih, from Umm Hani', who said: When the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) entered on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, they screened him off, and water was brought, and he washed, then prayed the duha prayer, eight rak'ahs — no one ever saw him pray it after that.
