حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَهَا أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِكِ عَلَى أَهْلِكِ هَوَانٌ وَإِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ وَإِنْ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ سَبَّعْتُ لِنِسَائِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya b. Sa'id told us, from Sufyan, who said Muhammad b. Abi Bakr told me, from 'Abd al-Malik b. Abi Bakr, from his father, from Umm Salamah, that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, he stayed with her three days and said, "There is no slight to you among your people; and if you wish, I will give you seven [days], but if I give you seven, I will give seven to my [other] wives [in turn]."
