قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ مِنْ الْأَذَانِ بِالصُّبْحِ وَبَدَا الصُّبْحُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُقَامَ الصَّلَاةُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi: Malik, from Nafi', from Abdullah ibn Umar, that Hafsah, wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when the caller fell silent from the call to prayer for the dawn and dawn had broken, would pray two light rak'ahs before the obligatory prayer was established.
