حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَتْ وَكَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ تَدْعُو بِدُعَاءٍ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَدْعُو بِهِ قَبْلَ الْيَوْمِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي سَأَرَى عَلَمًا فِي أُمَّتِي وَأَنِّي إِذَا رَأَيْتُ ذَلِكَ الْعَلَمَ أَنْ أُسَبِّحَ بِحَمْدِهِ وَأَسْتَغْفِرَهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ ذَلِكَ { إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا }.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali ibn Asim told us: Dawud told us, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say frequently before his death, "Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him; I seek Allah's forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance." She said: And he used to say it often, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, you are supplicating with a supplication you did not used to supplicate with before today." He said, "My Lord, Mighty and Majestic, informed me that I would see a sign in my nation, and that when I saw that sign I should glorify Him with praise and seek His forgiveness. And I have indeed seen that: {When the help of Allah comes, and the victory, and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes.}"
