حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ أَنِّي عَلِمْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ مَا كُنْتُ أَدْعُو بِهِ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوْ مَا كُنْتُ أَسْأَلُهُ قَالَ قُولِي اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali ibn Asim told us, he said: al-Jurayri informed us, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Aisha, she said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me, if I were to know the Night of Decree, what should I supplicate to my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, with, or what should I ask Him for?" He said, "Say: 'O Allah, You are indeed Forgiving, You love pardon, so pardon me.'"
