Abd al-Rahman told us, from Malik, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that when he fell ill, he would recite over himself the Mu'awwidhat (the two protective surahs) and blow his breath upon himself.
