حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَهِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا كُنْتُ أَقْضِي مَا يَبْقَى عَلَيَّ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَيَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلَّهَا إِلَّا فِي شَعْبَانَ.

Abd al-Rahman told us, he said: Za'idah told us, from al-Suddi, from Abdullah al-Bahi, from Aisha, that she said: "I would not make up what remained owing to me of Ramadan, throughout the entire life of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, except in Sha'ban."
