حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَزَلْ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَوَفَّاهُ الْمَوْتُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْت أَبِي يَقُولُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ هُوَ هَكَذَا فِي كِتَابِ الصِّيَامِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ وَفِي الِاعْتِكَافِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَحْدَهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Bakr told us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: al-Zuhri informed me, from the hadith of Urwah ibn al-Zubayr and Ibn al-Musayyab, narrating from Urwah, from Aishah, and Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to perform i'tikaf the last ten days of Ramadan, and he continued to do that until death took him, peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I heard my father say: This hadith is thus in the Book of Fasting, from Abu Hurayrah and Aishah, and in the Book of I'tikaf, from Aishah alone.
