Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Isma'il, who said: I heard al-Sha'bi narrate from Masruq, who said: I asked Aisha about a man who sends his sacrificial animal while he himself stays behind - should he refrain from what one in ihram refrains from? He said: I heard the sound of her hands from behind the curtain, then she said: 'I used to twist the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then he would send them off, and nothing became forbidden to him because of that.'
