حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ الْمَغْرِبَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ ارْكَعُوا هَاتَيْنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَمْ تُجْزِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهُمَا فِي بَيْتِهِ لِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هَذِهِ مِنْ صَلَوَاتِ الْبُيُوتِ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ هَذَا قُلْتُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ مَا أَحْسَنَ مَا قَالَ أَوْ مَا أَحْسَنَ مَا انْتَزَعَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated from Mahmud b. Labid: he said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to Banu Abd al-Ashhal and led them in the Maghrib prayer. When he finished with the salutation, he said, 'Perform these two rak'ahs in your homes.'" Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I said to my father, "A man said that whoever prays two rak'ahs after Maghrib in the mosque, it does not suffice him unless he prays them in his house, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'This is among the prayers of the houses.'" He said, "Who said this?" I said, "Muhammad b. Abd al-Rahman." He said, "How well he spoke," or, "How well he derived it."
