حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَحْمِي عَبْدَهُ الْمُؤْمِنَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَهُوَ يُحِبُّهُ كَمَا تَحْمُونَ مَرِيضَكُمْ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّرَابَ تَخَافُونَ عَلَيْهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It was narrated from Mahmud b. Labid: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Allah, Mighty and Sublime, protects His believing servant in this world and loves him, protecting him just as you protect your sick one from food and drink, out of fear for him."
