حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو مَالِكٍ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي أُمَّتِي أَرْبَعًا مِنْ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَيْسُوا بِتَارِكِيهِنَّ الْفَخْرُ بِالْأَحْسَابِ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءُ بِالنُّجُومِ وَالنِّيَاحَةُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فَإِنَّ النَّائِحَةَ إِنْ لَمْ تَتُبْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَمُوتَ فَإِنَّهَا تَقُومُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَيْهَا سَرَابِيلُ مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ ثُمَّ يُعْلَى عَلَيْهَا دِرْعٌ مِنْ لَهَبِ النَّارِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Amir narrated to us: 'Ali — meaning Ibn al-Mubarak — narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Zayd ibn Sallam, from Abu Sallam, who said: Abu Malik said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'There are four things from the Age of Ignorance in my nation which they will not abandon: boasting about lineages, seeking rain by means of the stars, and wailing over the dead. For the wailing woman, if she does not repent before she dies, will stand on the Day of Resurrection wearing garments of tar, and over them will be raised a shirt of the flame of the Fire.'
