حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنِي أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعٌ مِنْ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَا يُتْرَكُنَّ الْفَخْرُ فِي الْأَحْسَابِ وَالطَّعْنُ فِي الْأَنْسَابِ وَالِاسْتِسْقَاءُ بِالنُّجُومِ وَالنِّيَاحَةُ وَالنَّائِحَةُ إِذَا لَمْ تَتُبْ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهَا تُقَامُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَعَلَيْهَا سِرْبَالٌ مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ أَوْ دِرْعٌ مِنْ جَرَبٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us: Musa narrated to us: Aban ibn Yazid informed me, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Zayd ibn Abi Sallam, from Abu Malik al-Ash'ari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Four things from the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) will not be abandoned: boasting about lineages, defaming lineages, seeking rain by means of the stars, and wailing (over the dead). And the wailing woman, if she does not repent before her death, will be made to stand on the Day of Resurrection wearing a garment of tar and a shirt of scabs.'
