حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى الْقَارِئُ أَبُو عُمَرَ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا السُّدِّيُّ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ الْقِتْبَانِيِّ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارِ فَأَلْقَى لِي وِسَادَةً وَقَالَ لَوْلَا أَنَّ أَخِي جِبْرِيلَ قَامَ عَنْ هَذِهِ لَأَلْقَيْتُهَا لَكَ قَالَ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ فَذَكَرْتُ حَدِيثًا حَدَّثَنِيهِ أَخِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ أَمَّنَ مُؤْمِنًا عَلَى دَمِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا مِنْ الْقَاتِلِ بَرِيءٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Numayr told us, 'Isa al-Qari, Abu 'Umar b. 'Umar, told us, al-Suddi told us, from Rifa'ah al-Qitbani, who said: I entered upon al-Mukhtar, and he threw down a cushion for me and said: "Were it not that my brother Gabriel had just risen from this, I would have thrown it down for you." He said: So I intended to strike off his neck, but I remembered a hadith that my brother 'Amr b. al-Hamiq had related to me: he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whichever believer grants a believer safety over his blood and then kills him, I am innocent of the killer."
