'Abd al-Samad told us, Shu'bah told us, Yahya b. Sa'id told us, who said: I heard Muhammad b. al-Munkadir narrating from the son of Hazzal, from his father, that he mentioned something of Ma'iz's affair to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Had you covered him with your garment, it would have been better for you."
