حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ السَّبَّاكُ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِأَضَاءَةِ بَنِي غِفَارٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تُقْرِئَ أُمَّتَكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالَ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ مُعَافَاتَهُ وَمَغْفِرَتَهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تُقْرِئَ أُمَّتَكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ فَمَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْهَا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ja'far ibn Mihran al-Sabbak al-Basri told us, Abd al-Warith told us, from Muhammad ibn Juhada, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, that Jibril, peace be upon him, came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was at Ada'at Bani Ghifar, and said: "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, commands you to have your nation recite the Qur'an upon one letter." He said: "I ask Allah for His pardon and forgiveness" - and he mentioned the hadith, until he said: "Allah commands you to have your nation recite the Qur'an upon seven letters; whoever recites a letter of them, it is as he said."
