حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تُقْرِئَ أُمَّتَكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ فَأَيُّمَا حَرْفٍ قَرَءُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَدْ أَصَابُوا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shayba told me, Ghundar told us, from Shu'ba, from al-Hasan, from Mujahid, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - Jibril, peace be upon him, came to him and said: "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, commands you to have your nation recite the Qur'an upon seven letters, so whichever letter they recite upon, they have done rightly."
