حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَعَبْدَةُ قَالَا ثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَعْطُوا كُلَّ سُورَةٍ حَظَّهَا مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ.

Abu Mu'awiya and 'Abda told us, they said: 'Asim told us, from Abu al-'Aliya, who said: someone who heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told me that he said: "Give every surah its due share of bowing and prostration."
