حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.

Ibn Numayr told us: al-A'mash told us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: I heard Jarir say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will not show mercy to him." Abu Mu'awiya told us: al-A'mash told us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said - and he mentioned the same.
