Hushaym told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from al-Bara' ibn Azib, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "It is a right due from Muslims that each of them should wash on Friday and touch some perfume if he has it at home; and if his family does not have perfume, then water is fragrant enough."
