حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ سِبْطًا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ هَلَكَ لَا يُدْرَى أَيْنَ مَهْلِكُهُ وَأَنَا أَخَافُ أَنْ تَكُونَ هَذِهِ الضِّبَابُ.

Waki' told us, Abd al-Hamid ibn Bahram told me, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Indeed a tribe of the Children of Israel perished, and it is not known where its destruction occurred, and I fear that these lizards might be it."
