Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, Majma' ibn Ya'qub, from the people of Quba, told us, he said: Muhammad ibn Isma'il told me, that some of his family said to his maternal grandfather, who was Abdullah ibn Abi Habibah, "What did you witness of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: "He came to us in this mosque of ours, so I came and sat beside him. Then a drink was brought to him, and he drank, then handed it to me, and I was on his right." He said: "And I saw him that day praying in his sandals, and I was a young boy that day."
