Surayj ibn al-Nu'man told us, he said: Baqiyyah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad al-Alhani, he said: Abu Inabah told me — Surayj said: and he had companionship [with the Prophet] — he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When Allah, Mighty and Majestic, wishes good for a servant, He 'honeys' him." It was said, "And what is his 'honeying'?" He said, "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, opens for him a righteous deed before his death, then takes him upon it."
