حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَافِعًا يُحَدِّثُ فِي ذَلِكَ بِنَهْيٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَاهُ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ فَتَرَكَهَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَكَانَ لَا يُكْرِيهَا فَكَانَ إِذَا سُئِلَ يَقُولُ زَعَمَ ابْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Isma'il b. Ibrahim narrated to us: Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', that Ibn Umar was informed that Rafi' was narrating a prohibition from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding that, so he went to him, and I was with him, and asked him. He said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the leasing of farmland." So Ibn Umar abandoned it and would not lease it out. When he was asked, he would say: "Ibn Khadij claims that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the leasing of farmland."
