حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَرِيزٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْفٍ الْجُرَشِيِّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا إِنِّي أُوتِيتُ الْكِتَابَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ أَلَا إِنِّي أُوتِيتُ الْقُرْآنَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَا يُوشِكُ رَجُلٌ يَنْثَنِي شَبْعَانًا عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ يَقُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَمَا وَجَدْتُمْ فِيهِ مِنْ حَلَالٍ فَأَحِلُّوهُ وَمَا وَجَدْتُمْ فِيهِ مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَحَرِّمُوهُ أَلَا لَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ لَحْمُ الْحِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ وَلَا كُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ أَلَا وَلَا لُقَطَةٌ مِنْ مَالِ مُعَاهَدٍ إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَغْنِيَ عَنْهَا صَاحِبُهَا وَمَنْ نَزَلَ بِقَوْمٍ فَعَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَقْرُوهُمْ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْرُوهُمْ فَلَهُمْ أَنْ يُعْقِبُوهُمْ بِمِثْلِ قِرَاهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yazid b. Harun narrated to us: Hariz informed us, from Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Awf al-Jurashi, from al-Miqdam b. Ma'dikarib al-Kindi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, I have been given the Book and something like it along with it; indeed, I have been given the Qur'an and something like it along with it. Soon a man reclining full-fed on his couch will say: 'Hold to the Qur'an alone; whatever you find in it lawful, take as lawful, and whatever you find in it unlawful, take as unlawful.' Indeed, the flesh of the domestic donkey is not lawful for you, nor any fanged beast of prey. Indeed, nor is a lost item belonging to a person under treaty lawful to take, unless its owner no longer needs it. And whoever alights among a people, it is upon them to host him; and if they do not host him, he is entitled to take from them the equivalent of his hospitality."
