Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Sufyan, who said: Suhayl ibn Abi Salih narrated to me from 'Ata' ibn Yazid from Tamim al-Dari, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Religion is only sincere counsel.' It was asked: 'To whom?' He said: 'To Allah, His Messenger, His Book, the leaders of the Muslims, and their common folk.' 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us from Sufyan from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, and he mentioned its like, except that he said: 'Religion is only sincere counsel,' three times.
