حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَيَعْلَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ وَأَبُو بَدْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ يَعْلَى فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْأَعْوَادِ اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Numayr and Ya'la narrated to us, saying: 'Uthman ibn Hakim and Abu Badr narrated to us - from 'Uthman ibn Hakim - from Muhammad ibn Ka'b al-Qurazi - from Mu'awiya. Ya'la said in his narration: I heard Mu'awiya say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say upon these very planks: 'O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold. Whoever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion.'
