حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا فَقَّهَهُ فِي الدِّينِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, he said: Hammad - meaning Ibn Salamah - told us, he said: Jabalah ibn Atiyyah informed us, from Abdullah ibn Muhayriz, from Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When Allah intends good for a servant, He gives him understanding of the religion.
