قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ عَنَزَةَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا هَمْزُهُ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ كَهَيْئَةِ الْمُوتَةِ يَعْنِي يَصْرَعُ قُلْتُ فَمَا نَفْخُهُ قَالَ الْكِبْرُ قُلْتُ فَمَا نَفْثُهُ قَالَ الشِّعْرُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He said: Waki' narrated to us, he said: Mis'ar narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from a man of 'Anazah, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say: "God is greatest, greatly, and praise be to God abundantly, and glory be to God morning and evening. O God, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, from his hamz, his nafth, and his nafkh." He said: I said, "What is his hamz?" He said: And he mentioned something like the fit, meaning being struck down. I said, "What is his nafkh?" He said: "Arrogance." I said, "What is his nafth?" He said: "Poetry."
