حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ فَقَالَ مَا كَانَ مَنْزِلَةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَنْزِلَتُهُمَا السَّاعَةَ.

'Abdullah narrated to us: Abu Ma'mar narrated to me, from Ibn Abi Hazim, who said: A man came to 'Ali ibn Husayn and said, "What was the standing of Abu Bakr and 'Umar with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: "Their standing now is the same."
