حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِمَارًا وَحْشِيًّا وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْوَاءِ أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ فَرَدَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا فِي وَجْهِي فَقَالَ إِنَّا لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Mus'ab ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Anas narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah ibn Mas'ud, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah al-Laythi, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that he gave the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, a gift of a wild donkey while he was at al-Abwa' or Wadan, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, returned it. When the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, saw what was on my face, he said: "We only returned it to you because we are in ihram."
