قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبٌ هُوَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَمَى النَّقِيعَ وَقَالَ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ.

'Abdullah said: Mus'ab -- that is, al-Zubayri -- narrated to me, he said: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to me, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Ayyash al-Makhzumi, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah ibn Mas'ud, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah al-Laythi, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, declared al-Naqi' a protected pasture, and said: "There is no hima except for God and His Messenger."
