الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ishaq ibn Isa and Yunus reported it — and this is the wording of Ishaq — he said: Attaf ibn Khalid al-Makhzumi told us, he said: Musa ibn Ibrahim told me — Yunus said: [that is] Ibn Abi Rabi'ah — he said: I heard Salamah ibn al-Akwa', who, whenever he came down to stay somewhere, would stay with my father, say: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am often out hunting and have nothing on me but a shirt — should I pray in it?" He said: "Fasten it closed, even if you find nothing but a thorn to fasten it with."
