حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْبَجَلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَدْ وَضَعَ ذِرَاعَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى رَافِعًا بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ قَدْ حَنَاهَا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ يَدْعُو.

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us: Isam ibn Qudamah al-Bajali narrated to us: Malik ibn Numayr al-Khuza'i narrated to me from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, sitting in prayer, having placed his right forearm on his right thigh, raising his index finger, curving it slightly, while he was supplicating.
