حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَعَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ مَكِيلٍ.

Yahya ibn Zakariyya ibn Abi Zaida told us, Hajjaj told us, from Ata and from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir: that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling what is on the tops of palm trees for measured dates.
