حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَجْتَنِي الْكَبَاثَ فَقَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْأَسْوَدِ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ أَطْيَبُهُ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَكُنْتَ تَرْعَى الْغَنَمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَهَلْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا قَدْ رَعَاهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Uthman ibn Umar told us, Yunus told us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Jabir, he said: We were with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, picking the fruit of the arak tree. He said: "Take the black ones of it, for they are the best of it." We said: "Did you used to herd sheep, O Messenger of God?" He said: "Yes, and there is no prophet who did not herd them."
