حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يُتِمُّونَ التَّكْبِيرَ إِذَا رَفَعُوا وَإِذَا وَضَعُوا.

Abu Nu'aym told us, Sufyan told us, from Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm, who said: I heard Anas say: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to complete the takbir fully when they rose and when they lowered themselves.
