حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ رَأْسَهُ قَبَضَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ عَلَى أَحَدِ شِقَّيْ رَأْسِهِ فَلَمَّا حَلَقَهُ الْحَجَّامُ أَخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَجَعَلَتْ تَجْعَلُهُ فِي طِيبِهَا.

Abd al-Samad told us, Hammad told us, from Thabit, from Anas, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wished to shave his head, Abu Talhah took hold of one side of his head; when the barber shaved it, he took it and brought it to Umm Sulaym, who began putting it in her perfume.
