حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ عَنْ وَفَاءَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ فِيكُمْ خَيْرًا مِنْكُمْ يَعْنِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيكُمْ الْأَحْمَرُ وَالْأَبْيَضُ وَالْعَرَبِيُّ وَالْعَجَمِيُّ وَسَيَأْتِي زَمَانٌ يَقْرَءُونَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ يَتَثَقَّفُونَهُ كَمَا يَتَثَقَّفُ الْقَدَحُ يَتَعَجَّلُونَ أُجُورَهُمْ وَلَا يَتَأَجَّلُونَهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Bakr ibn Sawadah, from Wafa al-Khawlani, from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he came out to us and said, "There is good among you that is not from you" - meaning the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - "and you recite the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, among you the red and the white, the Arab and the non-Arab. A time will come when people recite the Qur'an, perfecting its recitation as one perfects an arrow shaft, hastening their rewards rather than deferring them."
