حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَخْضَرَ بْنَ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاعَ قَدَحًا وَحِلْسًا فِيمَنْ يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ قَالَ و حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي صَاحِبَ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ الْأَخْضَرِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ.

Mu'tamir told us, he said: I heard al-Akhdar ibn Ajlan, from Abu Bakr al-Hanafi, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sold a bowl and a saddle-cloth to the highest bidder. Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Abu al-Akhdar, he said - and Waki' told us, from Abdullah ibn Uthman, meaning the companion of Shu'bah, from al-Akhdar ibn Ajlan, from Abu Bakr al-Hanafi, from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), similarly.
