38/53(صحيح)عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ؛ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ، وَأَنَا خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ، وَاشْتَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنَ اسْمِي، فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ، ومن قطعها بتَتّه".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 'No one should despise himself.' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how can one of us despise himself?' He said, 'He sees a matter about which he should speak out for Allah's sake, but he does not speak out. So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says to him on the Day of Judgment: "What prevented you from speaking about such-and-such?" He says: "Fear of people." He says: "Rather, it is I Whom you should have feared."'
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبدالرحمان بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے رسول اﷲصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: اﷲ عزوجل فرماتا ہے:”میں رحمٰن ہوں اور میں نے رحم کو پیدا کیا ہے اور میں نے اس کے لیے اپنے نام سے نام نکالا، جو اسے ملائے گا میں اسے ملاؤں گا جو اسے کاٹے گا میں اسے کاٹ دوں گا۔“[صحيح الادب المفرد/حدیث: 38]
