حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - قَالَ - سَأَلْنَا جَابِرًا عَنْ وَقْتِ، صَلاَةِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ وَالْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ حَيَّةٌ وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعِشَاءَ إِذَا كَثُرَ النَّاسُ عَجَّلَ وَإِذَا قَلُّوا أَخَّرَ وَالصُّبْحَ بِغَلَسٍ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Amr ibn al-Hasan narrates: 'We asked Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) about the prayer times of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He said: "He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pray the Zuhr in the intense midday heat, the Asr when the sun was still bright and clear, the Maghrib when the sun set, and the Isha — when there were many people he would pray early, and when they were few he would delay. And he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pray the Fajr in the darkness (before dawn)."'
الترجمة الأردية
محمد بن عمرو بن حسن بیان کرتے ہیں: ہم نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز کے اوقات پوچھے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ظہر دوپہر کی سخت گرمی میں ادا فرماتے، اور عصر اس وقت جب سورج صاف اور روشن ہوتا، اور مغرب سورج غروب ہونے پر، اور عشاء — جب لوگ زیادہ ہوتے تو جلدی پڑھتے اور جب کم ہوتے تو تاخیر فرماتے، اور فجر اندھیرے میں ادا فرماتے تھے۔
