Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'The time of the Zuhr prayer lasts as long as the time of Asr has not come; the time of the Asr prayer lasts as long as the sun has not turned yellow; the time of the Maghrib prayer lasts as long as the twilight has not disappeared; the time of the Isha prayer lasts until midnight; and the time of the Fajr prayer lasts from the break of dawn until sunrise.'
