حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ . قَالَ وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ كَمْ صَلَّى .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) also narrated this tradition from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with a meaning similar to that of al-Qa'nabi's narration. This version states: Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) said: I forgot to ask Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) how many rak'ahs the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had offered.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے قعنبی والی حدیث کے ہم معنی روایت فرمائی ہے۔ اس میں اتنا ہے کہ حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: میں حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے یہ پوچھنا بھول گیا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کتنی رکعتیں ادا فرمائیں۔
