Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1017 حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ عَنْ بِلَالٍ قَالَ كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدِي تَمْرٌ فَتَغَيَّرَ فَأَخْرَجْتُهُ إِلَى السُّوقِ فَبِعْتُهُ صَاعَيْنِ بِصَاعٍ فَلَمَّا قَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْهُ قَالَ «مَا هَذَا يَا بِلَالُ؟» فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ قَالَ «مَهْلًا ارْدُدِ الْبَيْعَ ثُمَّ بِعْ تَمْرًا بِذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ أَوْ حِنْطَةٍ ثُمَّ اشْتَرِ بِهِ تَمْرًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفَ النَّوْعَانِ فَلَا بَأْسَ وَاحِدٌ بِعَشَرَةٍ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bilal narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had dates in my keeping. They deteriorated, so I took them to the market and sold two sa's for one sa'. When I presented the better dates to him, he said: "What is this, O Bilal?" I told him what I did. He said: "Wait! Reverse the sale. Then sell dates for gold or silver or wheat, then buy dates with it." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Dates for dates, like for like; wheat for wheat, like for like; gold for gold, weight for weight; silver for silver, weight for weight. When the types differ, there is no harm — one for ten."
