Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10076 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ الْيَامِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ وَصَفَ صِفَةً يَرَى أَنَّهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامَ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ وَأَنْ لَا يَخْتَلِفُوا فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا يَتَنَازَعُوا فِيهِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَخْتَلِفُ وَلَا يَتَسَاقَطُ وَلَا يَنْفُذُ لِكَثْرَةِ الرَّدِّ أَلَا تَرَوْنَ أَنَّ شَرِيعَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ فِيهِ وَاحِدَةٌ حُدُودَهَا وَقِرَاءَتَهَا وَأَمْرَ اللهِ فِيهَا وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنَ الْحَرْفَيْنِ يَأْمُرُ بِشَيْءٍ يَنْهَى عَنْهُ الْآخَرُ كَانَ ذَلِكَ الِاخْتِلَافَ وَلَكِنَّهُ جَامِعُ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ أَصْبَحَ فِيكُمْ مِنَ الْفِقْهِ وَالْعِلْمِ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا فِي النَّاسِ وَلَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يُبَلِّغَنِيهِ الْإِبِلُ أَعْلَمَ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنِّي لَطَلَبْتُهُ؛ حَتَّى أُزَادَ عِلْمَهُ إِلَى عِلْمِي قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ كُلَّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَعُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ عَامَ قُبِضَ مَرَّتَيْنِ كُنْتُ إِذَا قَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي مُحْسِنٌ فَمَنْ قَرَأَ عَلَى قِرَاءَتِي فَلَا يَدَعْهَا رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ جَحَدَ بِحَرْفٍ مِنْهُ جَحَدَ بِهِ كُلِّهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: Some people from the people of Kufa came to him, and he greeted them with peace and commanded them to fear Allah and not to disagree regarding the Quran nor dispute about it, for it does not contradict itself, nor do its meanings fall away, nor does it become exhausted through repetition. Do you not see that the law of Islam in it is one — its boundaries, its recitation, and Allah's command therein? If one reading commanded something that the other forbade, that would be contradiction, but it encompasses all of that. I hope that you have among you some of the best knowledge and understanding among people. If I knew of anyone whom the camels could carry me to, more knowledgeable of what Allah revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) than I, I would seek him out to add his knowledge to mine. I knew that the Quran used to be presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) once every year, and in the year he died it was presented twice. Whenever I recited to him, he would tell me I was doing well. Whoever recites according to my recitation should not abandon it in favor of another, for whoever denies a single letter of it has denied all of it.
