Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9989 حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا بَرَكَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَإِذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَصْعَةُ ثَرِيدٍ وَعُرَاوٍ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ كُنَّا نَصُومُهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفْرَضَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فَلَمَّا فُرِضَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ نَسَخَهُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ اقْعُدْ فَقَعَدْتُ وَأَكَلْتُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Alqamah said: I came to Ibn Mas'ud on the day of Ashura, and before him was a bowl of tharid and meat. I said: 'O Abu Abd al-Rahman, is this not the day of Ashura?' He said: 'Yes, we used to fast it with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) before the month of Ramadan was prescribed. When the month of Ramadan was prescribed, it abrogated it.' Then he said: 'Sit down.' So I sat and ate.
