Yusuf al-Qadi narrated to us, from Amr ibn Marzuq, from Shu'bah, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Abu al-Za'ra' who said: Abdullah said: 'Do not ask the People of the Book about anything, for they will never guide you while having led themselves astray. Either they will tell you something true and you will reject it, or something false and you will believe it.'
